Week Fourteen Composite: Go Through the Door

“Sometimes you just need to go through a door.”
― Ransom Riggs

I spent many hours photographing in Charleston, SC this spring.  I not only photographed the blooming azaleas in Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, but I also photographed

in the downtown area of Charleston.

Since it was just before Easter, many of Charleston’s doorways were decorated.  I loved the wreath hanging on one particular doorway.

Once back home, I decided to take an image of a frequently photographed location in the gardens and make it more of my own by adding the doorway.

Open the Door

Each week I learn new techniques.  Each composite leads me a step towards the kind of art  I hope to create in the future.

I hope each door you open this week leads you to something great!
