Honeymoon Island State Park, Florida

During my last visit to Florida, I had the opportunity to explore Honeymoon Island State Park two mornings of my stay.  I went the first morning with my brother, Paul.  The second morning, I met photography friend and fellow apprentice in the Arcanum, Lynn Wiezycki.

Honeymoon Island State Park has a lot to offer

nature lovers.  I thought it suited the name of the park that I found this scene on the beach.

I couldn’t help but wonder if some honeymooning couple had been responsible for scrawling the word love in the sand.

There were shells and beautiful golden rocks lining the beach.  The morning light made the rocks seem to glow.

Visitors to Honeymoon Island can enjoy fishing, boating, and kayaking.

Whether you are enjoying your honeymoon or just looking for a nice place to spend the day at the beach, don’t miss out on an opportunity to visit Honeymoon Island.
