Pool Views

In the summertime, I spend a lot of time at the pool.  I swim a mile a day most days in the summer.  I find that it is excellent exercise.  It also gives me an hour and fifteen minutes each day to disconnect from all technology and just take time to think.  I find it is so peaceful.

While visiting Florida, I decided to use my camera to take a closer look

at the pool where we were staying.

I first took my DSLR to the pool area shortly after sunrise.  Since there were no people there yet, I was able to really take a look at the surface of the pool and the reflections I saw there.

Later that morning, using an underwater camera, I was able to explore pleasing scenes under the water.

I think I actually prefer the underwater images.  It is just a view that you don’t ordinarily experience.
