The Birds

Last weekend, my longtime friend Patty and I visited other friends who recently moved to Florida.

I have looked forward to traveling to Florida since I was a child.  Two things I enjoy most about Florida are the clouds and the birds.  The skies were not very dramatic during our visit, but the birds did not disappoint.

We were not the only ones who were enjoying the birds.

The hotel where we stayed during our visit overlooked a small man-made lake.  Each morning of our stay, we took long, peaceful walks around the lake.

Although the trip to Florida was a quick one, I thoroughly enjoyed the special time with my friends while appreciating these feathered friends who make Florida their home in February.
