“I think happiness is what makes you pretty. Period. Happy people are beautiful. They become like a mirror and they reflect that happiness.”
― Drew Barrymore
The longer I photograph, the more I like to allow distance between the time I take the picture and the time I process the picture. Doing so, I often see patterns in what I photographed.
Last night, while starting out with the intention to process something else entirely, I started looking at my collection of photographs taken this fall. I noticed so many reflection images in that collection. Reflections are just something that I am drawn to photograph.
I hope you will enjoy this collection of colorful autumn reflections. The final image in the collection is a simple composite.
For my final image, I took a reflection shot from a car that I took and combined it with an image of these old windows to create a simple composite that I liked much better than either of the two images on their own.
I will be teaching a course in creating composites in March into early April using Zoom technology. I would love to have you join me for this adventure.
