Fall Morning in the Garden

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.”
― Audrey Hepburn

Photography outings with friends are one of my favorite things to do.

Yesterday, I met a great friend at Reynolda Gardens located in Winston-Salem, NC.  The air was crisp as we began the morning exploring with our cameras.

I have been enjoying seeing things from a closer perspective using the extension tubes that were housed in my camera bag unused for years.

There was so much beauty to be experienced in the garden.

I wanted to enter the greenhouse to photograph at the time designated for its opening.  Due to a plant sale, the greenhouse did not open.  I took the opportunity to explore outside of the greenhouse.

The rust outside of the greenhouse reminded me of a mountain scene.

As we made our way out of the garden, I noticed a pile of leaves, reminding me of our current season.

The leaves were just another example that we are surrounded by beauty everywhere we look.  We just need to look in order to see and appreciate it!

Happy Autumn!
