“Life is pure adventure, and the sooner we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat life as art.”

During the week of the Fourth of July, Randy and I made our way to Fort Myers, Florida to attend the Happily Ever After Party for my amazing God Daughter, Colby, and her new husband and love of her life, Kolby.
For many years, I went to Florida each summer. Life’s circumstances over recent years, have put that on hold. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to be back in such a special place sharing time with incredible people.
While on our Florida adventure, Randy and I explored the area. There was so much to see on the beach just outside of our back door at Fort Myers.
On the Fourth of July, we watched the local parade and fireworks on the beach.
One day during our visit, Randy and I explored nearby Sanibel Island. While there, we enjoyed visiting the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge and a fabulous bookstore housed in multiple buildings named Gene’s Books.
At every turn, the magical sights of Florida presented themselves just waiting to be photographed.
I love that my God Daughter has always viewed life as an adventure. I look forward to seeing where her travels take her with her loving and supportive husband by her side!
It was such a special time reconnecting with people I love while enjoying the gifts that Florida has to offer.
