“The practice of art isn’t to make a living. It’s to make your soul grow.”
―
I always enjoy ways to practice and learn new skills to improve my photography.
For years, I have thoroughly enjoyed participating in a
scavenger hunt that began on the Google Plus platform. While Google Plus no longer exists, the scavenger hunt lives on. I began hunting during round 16. The sign-ups for the next round, round 35, can be found here.
If you are interested in joining a group of like-minded people who are passionate about fun and photography, the scavenger hunt group is for you! Once you sign up, you will receive a list of words. You will create an image for each word and submit your images by the deadline. Once all of the images have been collected by the wonderful hunt volunteers, reveals of everyone’s images begin. It is always such a joy to see what others have created for the words on the list.
Here are the images I submitted for Round 34.
I had a great time this round trying new techniques both in the field and on the computer during post-processing.
If you would like to see the reveals of images from all of the talented scavengers, you can access them here.
I hope you will join us for Round 35 of the scavenger hunt. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions regarding participating in this wonderful hunt.
