Loud Colors, Quiet Places

“There’s a fragility here veiled in stillness, quiet, and the detachment from the noise of daily life.”

-Daniel Milnor

I have always sought peace when leaving my daily life and heading into nature.  The benefits nature provides my soul have never been as needed as they have been for the past year.  What I have found is that no matter

how busy, stressed or chaotic my daily life, I can get lost in the healing powers of nature.

For the past two weekends, even though I was exhausted from the requirements of the week, I headed out long before sunrise for day trips to the mountains.  I knew what I was heading towards was well worth the effort.

Although life in 2020 has lost its splendor in many areas, the colors of nature could not be contained.  They did not disappoint in the mountains of North Carolina.

This weekend I hope you have the opportunity to leave the daily stresses behind and lose yourself in nature.  The colors are bright, the air is crisp.  What are you waiting for?
