Puppy Love

This weekend I had the amazing opportunity to spend time with wonderful,  adorable, warm puppies.  I have been following their story since before they were born.

A friend and former coworker, Jenna, is fostering the mom and puppies.  She volunteers for Freedom Farm Rescue.  Jenna has been posting about their story on Facebook.  Before I went to Jenna’s house, I felt as if I already knew the puppies.  They are so lucky to have Jenna and her family to take care of them!  These adorable puppies will be ready for adoption in about four weeks.

When I first got to Jenna’s house, the puppies were in an enclosure.

The puppies were waking up and looking forward to adventure.

We started taking out several of the puppies.  Since I usually photograph things that stay still, I could see that this was going to be a challenge.  The puppies were going in all directions at once.

Jenna then got a basket.  I knew this would be the perfect thing to use so that I could get pictures of the pups.

We started out with just a few in the basket, but eventually all of the precious puppies were in on the fun.

Each of the pups:  Holden, Fripp, Eme, Oak, Kure, Sullivan, Tybee, Fig, Callie, Folly, and Savannah have a unique look and personality.

These puppies and their mom have received such love from Jenna and her family.  The puppies have had a great start.
