Reflecting Upon 2015 (Part One)

Photography has become such a big part of my life in the past nine years.  When I take time to reflect at the end of each year, it is not uncommon for me to look back on my photography from the year.  I feel that each year I grow as a photographer.  It is interesting to look at my work from each of the nine years to see my progression.

I tend to photograph and classify my photography by

seasons.  I am fortunate to live in an area of the country that changes significantly for each season.  On my desktop, I group my photographs by year and seasons within that year.  In this manner, I will present to you my favorite images from 2015.

Winter

Beauty at Botany Bay

The first of my winter images was taken at Botany Bay which is located on Edisto Island, SC.  It is one of my favorite places to photograph when visiting Charleston, SC.

The second of my winter images was taken at Eastatoe Falls.  Eastatoe Falls is located on private property in North Carolina.

Cold and Beautiful

I was not at all surprised to find that my favorite photographs taken in the spring were taken in Charleston, SC.  Charleston is such a wonderful place to photograph during the spring.  I will make a point to spend as much time as possible there while the azaleas are blooming.
